The sea is very shallow. Even though I don't know how to swim, I went in and moved forward. Some places are rocky, but mostly it's sandy. It's not very crowded; it's a quiet, beautiful place.

Winter nights can be rainy and cold. No one goes there during those times, but if you do, you can witness such sights.

It's a very beautiful and pleasant beach. The only problem is that the municipality doesn't know about it. In fact, if it were taken care of, it could be one of Urla's most beautiful beaches. But the municipality only clears the sand with tractors on Monday mornings. There's about 1.5 meters of gravel when you enter the sea, but after that, it's all sand. Definitely worth a visit.

I've had a summer house here for nearly 40 years. I've lived here constantly for the last four. It's beautiful in both summer and winter... BUT the beach and the entire village are filthy and littered... The municipality needs to seriously address this. Such a beautiful Aegean village doesn't deserve this level of indifference, this level of neglect, this level of indifference...

As someone who has visited Urla Gülbahçe both in summer and occasionally in winter for the last decade, I've witnessed the region's development firsthand. The increasing number of students at the Izmir Institute of Technology (IYTE) coupled with the opening of new businesses demonstrates the rapid transformation of Gülbahçe. I believe this development will continue in the coming years, making it an attractive investment area. One of Gülbahçe's greatest advantages is its location. Located between central Izmir and the popular resort town of Çeşme, and connected to the ring road, it makes transportation by car quite easy. This allows for easy access without traffic congestion. Gülbahçe's sea is sandy and warm. While not as clear as Çeşme's, it's certainly one of the best in the region. You might even prefer to swim here instead of heading to neighboring Balıklıova. The absence of any businesses on the beach means you don't have to pay for sun loungers or umbrellas. You can bring your own food and drinks and make the day your own. It should be noted that the beach is not very wide due to its proximity to summer houses, so it is best not to come with high expectations.
