It's 80 km from Izmir, 4 km from Mordoğan, and 30 km from Karaburun. It's accessible by public transport. There's a sign before entering Mordoğan that says the road splits. There's a parking problem once you enter the bay. There's no sand. The sea is crystal clear. You can swim with your family as you please. It's a public beach with a turquoise sea. I highly recommend taking the path right next to it and visiting Beyaz Kayalar Bay.

The entrance is a bit rocky and strange, but they've put in a ladder for entering the sea. The sea was a bit dirty when we first entered, but it cleared up as we went out. It doesn't get deep right away. It's more sandy as we go. The rocks offer a nice view. There were no sea urchins at this part of the bay. We sat a little further away at first, and the sea was cleaner, but there were urchins :) The choice is yours. It's a beautiful bay, but there are plenty of bays where swimming is easier.

It's quiet during the week. I don't know about the weekends, but parking isn't a problem. You can park anywhere nearby. There's also a shower in front of Lorin Cafe. The water is good, and it's a place mostly frequented by families. I recommend bringing food and drink. There's nowhere else to buy anything there besides the cafe.

I can say that Yağcılar Beach was a welcome relief after my adventure, but there's only one row of beaches, and boats are moored everywhere in the sea. You have to find your way around them and swim. We didn't use the hotel's sun loungers; we sat on our own chairs on the left. We arrived in the afternoon, and the day we visited was a full moon, so the view was stunning. Even though it was a weekend, it wasn't overly crowded, so it's a good choice.

A magnificent bay that makes you say, "Izmir is paradise!" Water shoes are recommended. The entrance is heavily pebbly. The water's clarity allows you to see schools of small and medium-sized fish swimming by with the naked eye. Arrive early to find parking.

A wonderful bay in Izmir that truly makes you say, "Izmir is a paradise!" Water shoes are recommended. Thanks to the clear water, you can see small and medium-sized fish swimming with the naked eye. You need to go early to find a parking spot.
