?
Run by the Urla Municipality, it's a reasonably priced establishment (entry fee 250, food and drinks a tick below market average / August 2024). The sea is beautiful, and I think the necessary facilities are sufficient. The sea isn't deep, but rather shallow for long distances, making it ideal for children and non-swimmers. I also think its proximity to Izmir is a plus in terms of transportation and time.
Update: Entry 450 ?

We choose this place because we think it's safe. It's an ideal place for families and groups of girlfriends.

The entrance fee is 450 lira as of June. There are toilets, showers, and changing rooms inside.

Food and drink are not allowed inside, but they don't check bags very closely. The prices at the businesses inside are quite reasonable. There's also a BİM (Bicycle Station) right at the beach entrance.

As for the sea, the water was warm when we visited on June 9, 2025. It's nice that it's all sand. However, I must say that the water is quite shallow. This is good for families with children.

A little more attention could be paid to cleaning.

What kind of municipality business is this? How can the entrance fee for a place run by the municipality be 450 TL per person? The entrance says 450 TL for sunbeds, but upon entering, thanks to the security guards' rude and arrogant explanations, we had to walk back for 2.5 hours. We still don't understand how the entrance fee, which we paid 100 lira last year on June 7, 2024, can become 450 lira in a year. We regret ever coming here, and we will never come back. We also would never recommend you come.

The sea was really pleasant, warm and shallow, and I really enjoyed it for that reason. However, it's hard to say the same for the beach; the pebbles in the sand were a bit disturbing.

We set off from Bornova early in the morning (8:15) and arrived about 45 minutes later. The facility is run by the municipality. There's a paid parking lot (200 TL), but you can find free parking a little further away. Sunbeds at the entrance cost 450 TL per person. Children are free. The restrooms and showers are plentiful and well-maintained. The sea is just waist-deep. It's perfect for families with children. The buffet is fast and reasonably priced. A can of Coke is 70 TL, ayran is 30 TL. Pizza is 150 TL. Alcohol is also available. The aqua park opens at 13:00 for children.
