A Historical Heritage

The Aydıncık coast was built on the ancient city of Kelenderis. For this reason, it is possible to come across historical ruins while walking along the coast. Roman theater ruins, rock tombs and water channels shed light on the rich history of the region.

Natural Beauties

Aydincik beach is an ideal spot for those who want to experience both the coolness of the mountains and the joy of the sea, thanks to its location at the foothills of the Taurus Mountains. This unique geography, where lush green forests, deep blue sea and golden sands come together, is a true paradise for nature lovers.

There are many activities to do in Aydıncık other than the sea. These include boat tours, nature walks, diving, snorkeling and camping.

A perfectly clean beach. It's also not a problem staying here. Some motels charge 180 lira for two adults, but the PINAR Motel charges 150 lira for two adults and two children. Şok bin a101 is right next to the beach. Tea at the beach cafe is 3 lira. Nescafe is a bit expensive, 5 lira. But you could bring your own water and tea in a thermos. Don't be rude, and ask for a soda and cola. You won't have to pay for a sunbed until the evening. It's a really clean and shallow beach. The sea doesn't smell bad. There aren't any businesses nearby that would dump waste into the sea. That's great. If there's one thing missing, there's this: there aren't many entertainment venues. If you're looking for an evening out and a bar, they're not here. There are no foreign tourists at all. It's all local, but it's still clean.

It's a beach I've visited several times with my family and friends, setting up tents. The municipality has maintained it to the best of its ability and continues to do so. The best part of the beach, in my opinion, is the area with camellias, seen from above, just before you enter the city center, coming from Mersin. If you turn left toward the sign that says "nature reserve." Follow that narrow road.
Please do not leave your garbage in such places.

Ideal for those seeking a clean, quiet beach uncrowded by large tourist groups. Accommodation is available in small apartments, making your family feel right at home. Escape the noise and relax on the beach with a book in peace.

Unfortunately, it is a beach that no longer has the same taste after the freak port project that was ruined by the previous mayor.

It's right at the foot of the Mersin-Antalya highway. The beach is a bit neglected. You can swim, but the beach is pebbly, so it's best to wear water shoes. The first 2-3 meters are rocky, which hurts your feet, but after that, it's sandy and very nice. It used to be rocky, but it's been filled with sand, so the sea is a bit murky. Showers, toilets, and changing rooms are sufficient. There's a playground.
