It's like heaven. But it's hell for day trippers—no cabins, no toilets, not even water for showers. Everything can be accessed with a wristband.

I can recommend Tisan Bay in the Silifke district of Mersin.
Tisan Bay, one of the hidden paradise corners of the Mediterranean, conquers hearts with its enchanting nature, tranquil atmosphere and pristine sea.

The bay sits on a peninsula with beaches on both sides. On one side lies the gently undulating Mediterranean beach, and on the other, a calm, almost waveless beach. This means you can enjoy swimming and relaxing in two ways.

Here, you can see traces not only of the sea but also of history. The bay was home to a former Greek colony and is famous for its ancient ruins. Among the surrounding historical artifacts are the ruins of an ancient harbor, aqueducts, and traces of ancient settlements. It is believed that Tisan was once called "Aphrodisias," a city dedicated to Aphrodite.

Reaching Tisan Bay requires a narrow, winding road, but it's definitely worth the effort. Here, you can enjoy a peaceful holiday away from the crowds. While there aren't any hotels, there are summer houses and guesthouses available for rent. It also offers a wonderful setting for diving and water sports enthusiasts.

If you want to spend a peaceful holiday away from the crowds, where nature, sea and history are intertwined, I recommend adding Tisan Bay to your list.

There is a guy who describes the walking route from Tisan, don't believe his comment and don't try it. This guy also wrote that trying experience is stupidity, yet he made a lot of jokes. He said I went at an average pace in 1 hour, IT'S A LIE. DON'T BELIEVE IT, DON'T BELIEVE IT. There is no road, there is a goat path and sometimes you have to climb and descend the slope. A person with average fitness and who knows the route can go the fastest in 2.5 hours and has to descend the slope in half an hour, so you need to take precautions. Don't try the land route, you can go by renting a yacht or other boats. It takes 35 minutes by boat in calm weather and 45 minutes in wavy weather.

It's a wonderful place. The atmosphere is beautiful, natural, and simple. I haven't seen such a beautiful bay in a long time. It's so crowded in the summer that you can't really tell. But in other months, it's so calm and serene. Once you get in from the main road, the roads are rough, mountainous, and winding, but it's worth it. There are a few markets, but they're seasonal and only open during the summer months. There's only one outdoor market. We couldn't find a restroom the month we visited (early February). Tour boats also stop by this bay in the summer; we've been there before.

There is such nonsense in Tisan Bay, I recommend you to be careful and be prepared before going.
There are no open places at night, the apartments and hotels where you will stay do not answer the phones.
Tisan is a small place and there are some rules, be careful about them, for example, although there are a lot of sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, they are all locked and owned by the owner. You can only use them, you cannot buy them, although it is right next to the sea, they are owned by the owner.
When you get out of the sea, there is no shower place, at least not for those who are not from Tisan because although there are many shower places, they only work with a wrist band and if you want to use it, you have to be a local member.
If you go prepared for these, I hope your holiday will be better.
