Avithos Beach in Kefalonia is undoubtedly a five-star piece of paradise! From the moment you step onto its soft, golden sands, you'll be captivated by its sheer beauty and tranquility. The crystal-clear turquoise waters are inviting and perfect for a refreshing swim. What truly sets Avithos apart is its gentle, shallow slope, ideal for families with children to splash and play safely. Even if you're not traveling with young children, the calm waters are incredibly relaxing. The beach itself is beautifully landscaped, yet manages to retain its natural, unspoiled charm. You'll find plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for your comfort, as well as comfortable showers. There are also two wonderful tavernas serving delicious fresh seafood and traditional Greek cuisine, perfect for a leisurely lunch with breathtaking sea views, right on the beach. One of the most captivating aspects of Avithos is the stunning natural landscape of lush green hills and the captivating view of the islet of Dias, with its charming church. Keep an eye out for the sheltered turtle nests on the quieter eastern side; If you get a chance to see the puppies it's a truly special experience!

It was perhaps our least favorite beach among the ones we visited. However, it's not far from the center of Argostoli, the sea is beautiful, and the beach is sandy. Lido costs €20 for a sunbed and umbrella. Drinks are not excessive.

This charming corner of the coast, with fine sand and a gentle entrance into the water, is perfect for relaxing. At first, you'll feel a few rounded stones underfoot, but then you'll enjoy the soft sand and crystal-clear water, perfect for swimming or snorkeling. Towards the edge, rocks discreetly surround the bay; you'll see small turtle nests marked and monitored on the beach. Regular beach: Sun loungers and umbrellas await you – the first row costs €30, the rest €20. If you're craving something refreshing, the beach bar has everything: cocktails, juices, ice cream, and even some delicious sandwiches. Right next to the parking lot, just a few steps from the beach, you'll find a stylish tavern with excellent food – the perfect place to end your day with a delicious meal. A perfect combination of nature and comfort.❤️

Sandy beach on the southwest side of Kefalonia. Orange sand behind a low cliff. The seabed is walkable for a long distance, so it's not particularly scenic. It's very clean. Watch out for turtle nests; they may have laid their eggs on the beach. If this happens, contact the authorities.

I loved this beach. The water is a stunning blue. It's just impossible to dive because it's so cloudy. 2 sun loungers + 1 umbrella = €30, which is quite expensive. There's plenty of parking. After a 10-minute walk, you can cross to the right and reach an equally idyllic and deserted beach!
