Look, my friend, I'm telling you, Mother Nature has blessed us human scum with such a place. The sea is beautiful, the sand is beautiful. But you come, eat, drink, and do everything you can. Why do you leave your trash and filth behind? There are trash containers 20 meters away, why don't you throw it there? It's so filthy, we couldn't stop the flies, it smells bad, and the flies bite. Where do you throw your trash in your house? The living room or the lounge? The beach and the surrounding areas are filled with garbage. The wind blowing from the land carries the trash you leave into the sea, and then you say, "The sea is filthy, you're filthy." The gendarmerie closed the beach to prevent vehicles from entering, and they did a great job, but people are still struggling to haul massive concrete blocks to get to the bottom of the beach. And then there are those desperately trying to get close to the sea, driving recklessly in the dark, only to plunge headlong into the sand. Then the village headman's tractor comes for a thousand lira. By the way, I absolutely commend the caravaners. I haven't seen a single caravaner actually leave their garbage, and I even encountered many of them cleaning the area this morning. I should thank them. It's windy, blowing from the land, and the frequent sandstorms hit you like bullets. In short, it's a challenging place. Don't go, don't go. Let nature breathe a little.

As you drive along the highway, take the Zeytinler exit and take the old Çeşme road. As you head towards Çeşme, you'll see the Zeytineli sign. It's one of the few roads I enjoy driving. You'll wind your way through the forest and reach the old village of Zeytineli. After passing a charming village, you'll reach the cove in 3-5 km. The cove is pristine. There's a market nearby; you can buy your groceries there. But please bring a garbage bag. There's a lot of garbage. Unfortunately, as a nation, we're picky about where we eat. This place is a popular spot for caravaners. It's crowded on weekends, but it's much quieter during the week. Now, let's get to the sea and the beach. The beach and the sea are sandy, my friends. There are never any waves here; it's located between two hills, so it's calm. The water temperature is normal for Izmir. Its biggest drawback for families with children is that even if you go 100 meters, the water is waist-deep. It doesn't get deep right away. I love it here, but only on weekdays :)))

The sea is sandy, clear and shallow
It is likely to be safe and peaceful for families with children,
I completely agree with the other comments. The garbage, odor, and flies are unfortunately all the more reason for the influx of people. In the Aegean region,
I often come across comments about garbage in these types of places and locations. Finally, the region is windy most of the year. On a windy day, you might encounter a sandstorm. If you encounter a sandstorm, it can be very difficult.
Your vehicle, clothes and belongings will be completely covered in dust and sand, which is a troublesome process.

The sea and sand were beautiful, but the surroundings were so dirty that I regretted going. The people were filthy. The garbage we've become accustomed to seeing all the time was a truly awful sight. The waves were washing it all into the sea. We collected garbage from the surrounding areas, but it's impossible to collect it all. Education is essential. Those who leave their trash will definitely complain about the garbage on their next visit. It's actually a nice place for children, the sea is shallow. But
There's no shade. There are stunted trees and bushes, and they've pooped under them, I'm sure you understand. These people can't be fixed, pfff pfff

It's a wonderful place we've been going to for two years. It's a quiet place, perfect for camping. There's a market just five minutes away, and there's a restroom across from the market. There's no shower, but it's a perfect place to unwind. The water is very clean and crystal clear. I recommend going.
