The sea is a bit wavy, so it's not possible to go out very far, and there's a charge for changing rooms; when I went, it was 50 TL, which is ridiculous. Other than that, it's fine.

I go almost every year, and the sea is beautiful and crystal clear. There's usually no seaweed or rocks, but that's the case in some areas. Showers and other services aren't free; umbrella rentals are available from private businesses for around 400 TL. If you bring your own equipment, you can enter for free; the municipality operates the parking garage, which costs 300 TL.

This is a very beautiful place

There is also paid sunbed and umbrella rental on the beach, and there is a huge, almost 1 km beach open to the public, free of charge.

The municipality needs to put showers and fountains here.
You need water to wash your feet, especially at the beach exit.

When you drive here, either park your car outside on the road or there is a paid parking lot for 300 TL. Never go under the parking lot with your car. There is an incredible hill, vehicles are always stuck on the sandy pavement road, do not take risks.

Şile Uzunkum Beach, truly close to Istanbul, is a great place for a day of beach fun. The water is very clear, and the waves are fun for children. The beach is wide, the sand is fine, and even walking is a pleasure. Lifeguards are constantly on duty, ensuring a sense of security.

The beach services are decent, with showers, restrooms, and changing rooms available. There's a fee of around 1000 TL for two sun loungers and an umbrella, which is a bit steep but worth considering if you're looking for a relaxing, spacious area away from the crowds. It's ideal for those who prefer a quieter environment, especially on weekdays. If you arrive by car, parking is 400 TL, and finding a spot is usually easy. July 2025

With its seaside delights, clean shores, and overall cleanliness, Uzunkum Beach was a delightful getaway for us. We felt comfortable visiting with both our families and friends. The prices are a bit high, but I'd say the tidiness and natural atmosphere make up for it. It's a place worth visiting at least once during the summer months. I highly recommend it.

We went to the Şile side for the first time and decided to visit this bay. It wasn't hard to find. Parking is 300 TL, and if you'd like to rent an umbrella and sun loungers on the beach, we paid 1000 TL for 2 sun loungers and an umbrella. (We were a bit sloppy.)

The most ridiculous thing about the beach is that there are no showers or changing rooms. There's no sink either. There used to be a private beach, but we wouldn't have spent that much money there. Changing rooms are available for those renting sunbeds. If you bring your own umbrella and want to use it, there's a fee.
You also have to go down a steep hill to get in, and go up a steep hill to get out.

Don't say we'll buy cold drinks there. Go buy them from the supermarket. If you're wondering why, a bottle of peach ice tea on the beach costs 200 TL. (Kaziklandik vol2)
The beer was also 260 TL.

If you're looking to spend time with your family, this could be a great choice. Almost all families lived in the bay. The water is also clean, and the sand is soft. There are also border crossings.
