It's a public beach used by local communities, but it's neglected. The Milas Municipality has no service other than garbage collection. Residents are forced to collect the trash from day-trippers. Visitors are asked to pick up their own trash; the municipality has no service.

It has a sandy beach. When there are no waves, the sea is considered clean. While the sea is crystal clear in the morning, it becomes quite windy and choppy in the afternoon. The municipality provides umbrellas and sun loungers. Prices are 100 TL per sun lounger as of July 2025. There are changing rooms and showers, but no restrooms. There's a cafe right next to it, which can be used in emergencies. There's a pop-up corn vendor and a gözleme (Turkish flatbread) vendor. The area directly behind the beach is available for those arriving by car.

The sea is clean and clear. The beach is fine and sandy. There are cafes out back. The surrounding area is clean. There are changing rooms. It can get a bit crowded on weekends. Prepare yourself accordingly. Recommended.

The first entrance point shown by Google Maps says it is private property and cannot be entered. (The first entrance from Akbük to Bozbük) When you cannot enter there, Google Maps draws a second route. That route is free.
When you reach the beach, there's a sign on the right at the entrance, at a 90-degree angle, for Incekum Public Beach. As soon as you enter, there are rows of umbrellas and sun loungers. The signs say there's a charge for sun loungers, but I tried to find one, but couldn't find one. A previous visitor said that sometimes they come and charge you for a seat, sometimes they don't, and no one comes or goes. Apparently, they charge 100 TL for those who do (22.07.2025).
The beach is sandy, and once you enter the sea, there are relatively rounded stones for the first three meters. Then there's the sand (though there are some rocks here and there). Generally speaking, that's the case. There are showers at the beach, but I didn't see a toilet. There are restaurant-style places at the entrance area; perhaps there are some there. As far as I understand, the sun loungers and umbrellas aren't paid.

We came to this beach for a five-day stay. It wasn't overly crowded. Luckily, we arrived when the weather wasn't too hot. We stayed here again at the end of June. Compared to that time, the Milas Municipality's services here have made a difference. 1. The caravans that blocked the beach like a wall have been moved further back. 2. Showers and changing rooms have been installed on the beach.

4. Barrier-free beach path has been built. 5. The tramway is being built but is not yet active.

6. The municipality staff cleaning the area are very kind. They even hand out garbage bags to the caravans. We politely declined because we had our own.

7. Coastal cleaning is done every day

8. Disinfection is being done, we have not had any mosquito problems.

The only problem was that shower water was directed back toward the beach if the sea wasn't facing it. This created an environment for water accumulation and the breeding of flies. But I think this will be fixed.

Thanks to Milas Municipality and its employees.
