I love it!, family friendly, spacious, people are busy with their work and don't bother you, the sunsets are really beautiful, it's true that there are rocky areas in the water now... And I recommend wearing water shoes... The water is generally cold but great for cooling off, you can choose where to stand and leave your umbrella, towels, chairs etc and you have everything in the same place!!! Perfect!

It's an incredible beach. But it's gotten quite crowded. Now there are plenty of restaurants, sand parks, surf lessons, and even two hippie markets! So, it's no longer the pristine beach it once was; it's very crowded. But it still has beautiful, clear waters. However, the sand isn't as fine and golden as it once was. BE CAREFUL swimming in the area behind the tower, as the currents are very dangerous, and swimming during high tide is prohibited.

El Palmar Beach, with its crystal-clear waters, is one of the longest in Cádiz and is popular with surfers and families looking to enjoy the sea in peace and quiet, away from the crowds. In the morning, during low tide, you can take a stroll to enjoy the unspoiled landscape, accompanied by large dunes. There are several access points; the most popular is near the coastal path, where there are many restaurants and shops selling traditional goods. In our case, we opted for a more secluded area where we were virtually alone. Paid parking is available for €4 all day. The beach is so large that there are areas where families with dogs can enjoy themselves without disturbing others, as well as nudist areas.

Super long, well-maintained sandy beach with beautiful sea. Not much else happened except for the weekend in mid-May. The weather was fantastic, with only one cloudy morning in five days, but otherwise, everything was blue.

A wide, expansive beach. You won't find your typical beach spot with umbrellas stacked on top of each other. However, there are many days when the wind and sand are strong. It's a very clean landscape, with no buildings and a protected dune area. Clear water. There are many schools and places to grab a drink or eat along the way.
