Aysultan Women's Beach , located in the Uğrak area between the Alanya and Gazipaşa districts of Antalya, was a beach designed especially for women. However, with the changes in recent years, it has lost this feature and started to serve as a family beach.
History and Developments
- Opening and First Years: The beach, opened by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality in 2017, provided services exclusively to women for approximately 4 years.
- Change: Following the elections held in 2019, the management of the beach changed and its purpose of use was revised as 'family beach'.
- Period of Closure: The beach remained closed for a while and was later reopened, but this time it lost its status as a women-only area.
