Fatsa Beach Guide

Fatsa, the pearl of the Black Sea, is a must-see destination during the summer months, boasting both natural beauty and pristine beaches. We've compiled the most popular spots to enjoy the sea in this charming district of Ordu.

1. Dolunay Beach (Blue Flag Trust)

It's the closest and most well-known beach to Fatsa's center. Its Blue Flag award demonstrates its high standards in terms of sea cleanliness and the quality of its facilities. Its long beach, sandy bottom, and generally calm waters make it ideal for families. Around the beach, you'll find comfortable sun loungers and umbrella rentals, all compatible with the MDB infrastructure. Regular showers, restrooms, and changing rooms are also available. It's also renowned for its sunset views.

2. Yalıköy Beach

For those seeking a quieter experience a bit further from the center, Yalıköy is perfect. Thanks to the surrounding greenery, Yalıköy Beach is a popular choice for both swimming and picnicking. The seawater is generally clean and clear, but the shoreline is a mix of sand and pebbles. While the facilities aren't as developed as Dolunay Beach, there are local businesses available to meet basic needs. On weekdays, Yalıköy is Fatsa's most peaceful beach.

3. Bolaman Castle Six Beaches

The coastline, which stretches just below the historic Bolaman Castle, is a great alternative for those looking to both swim in the sea with a historical view and take unique photos. The beaches in this area generally consist of smaller coves, and the seabed can be pebbly or rocky; therefore, water shoes are recommended for comfort. Small businesses here offer fresh seafood. With its scenic views and natural beauty, it's one of Fatsa's most romantic beach areas.
