This is the spot where the ANZAC soldiers first set foot on land, and from here they began their climb to Chunuk Bair. I can say that it's a highly strategic and historical site. The area is laid out with stones brought from Australia. Numerous pictures and stories from ancient times hang on the walls. It's a must-see in Çanakkale.

I think we came across the end of summer, the weather was overcast and we were the only ones there, so maybe that's why it felt even more beautiful :)

Note: This is not a beach or anything, you park on the roadside and jump off.

First of all, I have to say that this isn't a place to swim and sunbathe. It's a completely untouched place. It's the heart of Chunuk Bair and the Gallipoli Campaign. You can even see the graves of the Anzacs who died in that war there. It smells of history. Usually, foreigners come here on tour. We parked wherever we could and had the opportunity to see it.

In the early hours of April 25th, the Anzac troops landed here. Facing a gentle slope, they suddenly came face to face with Arı Burnu, the protector of Çanakkale. They remained stuck there for nine and a half months. They even compared Arı Burnu to the Sphinx, which guarded the pyramids they had seen in Egypt. Of course, they couldn't get past it.
