The beach is divided into small groups. It's rocky, so it's crystal clear. A meticulously constructed walking path runs along the seafront. Of course, since small municipalities don't have much in the way of resources, I think it's sufficient. It's a charming little town. There's a coastal path from the harbor to Çamurca Beach.
The landscaping has been beautifully designed. Thanks to the breakwater, the negative impact of the Black Sea has been partially mitigated. A ladder has been built from the pier to access the water. Along the shore, there are cafes, lawns, and shaded seating. The water's turquoise color complements the forest view in the background.
The town is a cute coastal town. Burq's manti is famous. We stopped at the first cafe for manti and kunefe, and it was delicious. We prayed at the seaside mosque, but the road beyond was very rough, so we turned back and continued on to Kanstamonu.
I think Ayancık Beach, often listed as a must-see in Sinop, is overrated. If you're on the road or nearby, you can visit, but keep in mind that it's small. It's unnecessary to travel a long distance to explore. The pebbly beach, used for swimming during the day, welcomes visitors for a stroll in the evening. You might see young people jumping into the water, even though signs warn that jumping into the sea is dangerous. Fishing occupants surround the pier. You might also encounter a mini amusement park for young children. The breakwater becomes severely infested with mosquitoes by evening, and the shores are littered with trash. It's a simple beach for those who want to relax and sip tea while overlooking the sea. Don't go with high expectations.
A crowded, lively, and cheerful beach, people fishing from the breakwater, strolling, cafes, cycling, skateboarding, the sunsets—everything is beautiful. On summer evenings, it's as if all the people of Ayancık gather here.
