The Most Beautiful Beaches in Alanya

Cleopatra Beach

Located on the west side of Alanya, just at the foot of the castle, Cleopatra Beach is undoubtedly the region's most famous beach. Legend has it that Egyptian Queen Cleopatra swam here. The beach is notable for its fine, golden sand, shallow waters, and turquoise waters. This Blue Flag-certified beach maintains its water quality despite its location in the city center and is renowned for its sunset views.

Incekum Beach (Avsallar)

Although it's a bit far from Alanya's city center (approximately 20 km), its quality makes it a beach well worth the distance. Incekum takes its name from the powdery sand beneath your feet. Its shallow, calm waters make it ideal for families with young children and non-swimmers. Its location in a natural bay surrounded by pine forests makes it a refreshing escape.

Keykubat Beach

Keykubat Beach, located along the eastern shore of Alanya Castle, takes its name from the Anatolian Seljuk ruler Alaaddin Keykubat I. It has a longer coastline than Cleopatra Beach. Its texture is a mixture of sand and small pebbles. Its proximity to the city center and the surrounding area's numerous facilities, cafes, and restaurants make it a very socially vibrant destination.

Damlatas Beach

Located right next to the famous Damlataş Cave, this small but central beach is considered the beginning of Cleopatra Beach. The cave's air, known to be beneficial for respiratory ailments, and the beach's cleanliness make it a significant health tourism destination. The sand is fine, and the sea entrance is comfortable.

Orange Beach (Oba)

Portakal Beach, located in the eastern part of Alanya, begins where the Dim River flows into the Mediterranean. It takes its name from the ancient orange groves surrounding it. Compared to Keykubat Beach, it offers a more tranquil and natural atmosphere. It's ideal for those who enjoy cool waters, as the Dim River's cold waters, mixing with the seawater, provide a wonderful refreshing experience, especially in summer.
